Gilroy ends the guessing game and stays on as Dublin boss

DUBLIN football supporters havefinally received the news they craved with confirmation that All-Ireland winning manager Pat Gilroy willremain in charge.

St Vincent’s man Gilroy left supporters guessing since September’s final defeat of Kerry by refusing to confirm his plans for 2012.

But after being issued with an ultimatum by officials to decide one way or the other he finally gave a positive response ahead of last night’s county board meeting and a fourth season as boss was formally ratified.
