Timing of goals killed us, says O’Sullivan

NO complaints from the Mid Kerry camp after yesterday’s decider in Fitzgerald Stadium.

Three years ago Darran O’Sullivan left the Killarney venue with a winner’s medal in his pocket but his hopes of replicating that feat were thwarted by a superior Dr Crokes performance.

“Goals win games and theirs came at good times, right at the start of the game and then at the start at the second half. We had started well in the second half, the momentum was just starting to shift towards us but we conceded another goal. It was a killer blow. Over the course of the game we weren’t good enough. They performed. We didn’t.”
