Tipperary role for Dunphy

TIPPERARY’S senior hurlers announced their new fitness, strength and conditioning coach last night.

Wexford native Ross Dunphy takes over from the highly-rated Cian O’Neill, who has taken over as Mayo football coach. Dunphy has represented Wexford at all levels of Gaelic football and trained the Toomevara senior hurling team for three seasons and the Kildare U21s in 2009.

Over the past few seasons he was involved with coaching and management teams in Sarsfields GAA club in Newbridge.
