Walsh steps out of the shadows

AIDAN WALSH admits he was hit with bouts of inferiority while training to make the International Rules panel.

The Cork midfielder and 2010 young footballer-of-the-year didn’t believe he was good enough to make the 23-man squad for Australia.

“When I got the call to come for trials I said I’d have a good crack off it and I was delighted to make it because the competition for places was fierce,” said the Kanturk man.
