Three Bennett brothers the toast of Walsh Park

The winning team included three brothers, Kieran (17), Stephen (16) and Shane (14) Bennett from Ballysaggart and they became the first three brothers to feature on a county minor winning team.

Their father Pat is a former county senior hurler and member of Davy Fitzgerald’s Waterford senior hurling management team for the past two seasons. His sons are highly regarded, with Stephen scoring 3-3 in the Munster MHC defeat of Limerick.
