Lively West Kerry in full control
Defensively the amalgamation were very strong with Tomás Ó Sé dominant throughout while their attack often punched through the O’Rahillys defence. For the second game in three weeks since his return from St Kilda’s, Tommy Walsh came off second best against Marc Ó Sé.
West Kerry were slow to settle and O’Rahillys led 0-3 to 0-1 after ten minutes with points from Walsh, Barry John Keane and Declan Quill. But West Kerry took charge for the next 20 minutes with a Declan Quill’s ‘45 the sole response from the Tralee side.
