Poniard sets up replay

AFTER Cathal McCrann’s 61st minute levelling free for Gortletteragh extra-time couldn’t separate Manorhamilton and Gortletteragh in Saturday’s thrilling Leitrim SHC final in Carrick-on-Shannon.

David Poniard sent the game to a replay when he shot a spectacular 73rd minute point for Manorhamilton.

Manorhamilton led 1-1 to 0-1 at half time.

Former Tipperary player Val Cronin scored Manorhamilton’s first goal and Patrick Loughlin had their second ten minutes from time. Gortletteragh’s goal came from Mark O’Donoghue through the second half.
