THE Willie O’Connor Cup went unclaimed after yesterday’s Carlow SHC final at Dr Cullen Park as Naomh Eoin battled back to force a draw with Mount Leinster Rangers, 1-7 to 0-10, with a late point from a free by captain Dwain Kavanagh.

Meanwhile defending football champions Old Leighlin will meet Tinryland in the October 16 SFC final after they saw off Éire Óg 2-7 to 1-6 in Saturday’s replayed semi-final.
