Donoughmore edge out Inch

A LATE point by Yvonne Twomey saw Donoughmore win the Cork Evening Echo Ladies SFC final by a solitary point in Cork IT yesterday.

A stunning second-half display by Mossie Barrett’s troops ousted the reigning All-Ireland club champions Inch, who only managed to score three points in the second half.

Two first-half goals by Mary O’Connor and the sin-binning of Donoughmore’s Regina Curtin in the 20th minute saw Inch go in at the half in front, 0-8 to 2-6, however Noel O’Connor’s side failed to ignite in the second.
