Goalkeeper Hennessy calls time on Waterford career

WATERFORD goalkeeper Clinton Hennessy has retired from inter-county hurling.

The Ardmore clubman will continue with his club but work and family commitments mean he will not figure for the Déise next year.

“The time is right to go,” Hennessy said yesterday.
