Wexford’s double delight

WEXFORD secured a minor and senior double in the All-Ireland 60x30 finals in the Williamstown Handball Club on Saturday night.

Dean Corrigan and Cory Murphy beat Roscommon pair Mark Nally and Cathal Connelly in a thrilling minor showdown 13-21, 21-10, 21-15 before Barry Goff and Colin Keeling claimed Wexford’s first senior crown at this level since 2000.

Goff and Keeling had too much skill and guile for Mayo duo, Dessie Keegan and Joe McCann as they romped to a 21-12, 21-17 win.
