Murphy no longer just looking after number one

IT’S All-Ireland football final week but not as Diarmuid Murphy knows it.

He has grown accustomed to guarding Kerry goalmouths on September days in Croke Park but on Sunday will watch on as a selector to Jack O’Connor.

From focusing on getting himself right for the big occasion, he now frets about the well-being of 30 players.
