Cahill gives Tipp late injury scare

TIPPERARY expect corner back Michael Cahill to be fit for next Sunday’s All-Ireland SHC final against Kilkenny, despite a late injury scare at training last night.

Cahill went over on his ankle and sat out the remainder of the session as a precaution.

Tipp medical staff attended to the Thurles Sarsfields defender but indications from the camp last night are that Cahill, 22, is in no danger of missing the eagerly-anticipated clash.
