McGuinness hails Donegal’s disciplined approach

DON’T even think for a second that parallels can be drawn between Sunday and the last time Dublin and Donegal met in the championship.

Jim McGuinness won’t hear it. He played in midfield in both those All-Ireland quarter-final games in 2002 but doesn’t like the memories.

What they represent to him now is an ugly past, full of missed opportunities, regrets and poor preparation.
