Power praises Premier’s young marvels
Three years ago, Tipperary chairman Barry O’Brien revealed his ambition for Tipperary to be contesting All-Ireland football finals at every grade by the year 2020. Their minors have just got there nine years ahead of schedule.
The county had begun the process of making a name for itself at underage and schools levels prior to this but the manner in which they have reached a first minor decider since 1984 has more than justified O’Brien’s bold words.
