McGuinness and the Donegal metamorphosis

DONEGAL men are a traditional bunch. This is more than a flippant opinion.

Proof of the Donegal man’s conservatism was revealed in an online poll of nearly 13,000 respondents. Carried out by AA Travel Insurance the survey tried to discover how adventurous Irish tourists are while overseas.

It turns out the L’homme du Donegal isn’t very adventurous at all. In fact, they are the least experimental diners in the country. One in three people from the county admitted they rarely, or never eat local cuisine.
