Dublin’s Premier inside man

AS A long-time resident in Dublin, Tipperary native Richard Stakelum expects plenty of calls from home any week the Premier County are in All-Ireland action.

But there doesn’t seem to be too many this week, which may be understandable. Stakelum is one of Anthony Daly’s senior selectors with Dublin. From his years in the capital he can flesh out the easy cliche about the hard work put into underage hurling on Liffeyside.

“The work has been huge,” he said.
