Ó Flatharta’s Galway reign looks over

TOMÁS Ó FLATHARTA’S tenure as Galway boss looked over last night following a meeting of the football board.

Kerry native Ó Flatharta, who is just one season into his term, wanted to stay on but had been under pressure after relegation to Division 2, a disappointing Connacht semi-final defeat to Mayo and qualifier loss to Meath.

Reports last night suggested the board had decided his time was up.
