Ó Flatharta keen to complete unfinished business with Tribe

TOMÁS Ó FLATHARTA has told Galway officials that he wishes to remain in charge of the Tribesmen next season despite their dismal championship form and relegation from division one in the league.

The first step in deciding who will manage the Galway footballers next year has taken place with Ó Flatharta last week sitting down with the six officials who interviewed him last year, along with an official of the football board.

This group will make a report to the Galway football board executive who are due to meet with Ó Flatharta in the coming days.
