Fitzgerald’s calls answered

WATERFORD manager Davy Fitzgerald revealed he has been receiving “mysterious” phone calls since his team’s 21-point defeat by Tipperary in the Munster final.

Fitzgerald admitted the fortnight previous to yesterday’s sensational victory over Galway had been extremely difficult.

And he revealed: “I’ve a great thing about life, you never give up on anything no matter what the story is.
