Masterson brands Fahy the ‘world’s worst referee’

WEXFORD keeper Anthony Masterson has launched a blistering attack on Longford official Derek Fahy describing him as the ‘world’s worst referee.’

Masterson was furious after the Longford whistleblower overruled one of his umpires and awarded Limerick a last-minute winning point in Saturday’s All-Ireland SFC qualifier in Portlaoise.

The Model County goalkeeper said the lack of consultation with the umpire who had waved the effort wide was what angered him most.
