Crokes to face Stacks in Kerry quarter-final

KERRY SFC champions Dr Crokes have been paired with last year’s beaten finalists, Austin Stacks, in the quarter-finals of this season’s competition.

Dr Crokes, who overcame Austin Stacks 1-15 to 0-11 in the 2010 final, will look to Colm Cooper, Eoin Brosnan and Kieran O’Leary to inspire the Killarney side against Kieran Donaghy’s Tralee club.

Meanwhile, 2008 champions Mid Kerry will meet Rathmore who received a bye into the third round. Coming off the back of a convincing 1-15 to 2-5 win against Feale Rangers, Mid Kerry will be expected to advance to the semi-finals.
