Bolton returns to Lilywhites line-up

EMMETT BOLTON returns to the Kildare side for tomorrow’s All-Ireland qualifier against neighbours Meath in Páirc Tailteann in Navan.

Manager Kieran McGeeney has named him at left half-back instead of Ollie Lyons in the only change from the side that defeated Laois in last weekend’s qualifiers.

Meanwhile Waterford boss John Owens has drafted Conor Phelan into his team for tomorrow’s All-Ireland qualifier against Limerick in the Gaelic Grounds.

Eamonn Walsh has been ruled out with an ankle injury, with Phelan named at centre-back as Kieran Connery reverts to left corner-back.

Positional changes see Brian Wall to midfield, Sean Dempsey move to centre-forward, Sean Fleming switch to corner-forward and Gary Hurney moved to full-forward.

Limerick manager Maurice Horan will name his team today for the clash.

Wicklow midfielder James Stafford is an injury doubt for their qualifier replay with Armagh in Aughrim tomorrow after sustaining an ankle injury in training on Wednesday night. Manager Mick O’Dwyer has delayed naming his starting 15 as a result.

Ulster finalists Donegal will announce their starting lineup today for Sunday’s Ulster SFC final clash in Clones but opponents Derry could be set to wait until throw-in before revealing their team.

Galway minor boss Tommy Joyce has made a host of personnel and positional changes to the side which overcame Leitrim by 4-13 to 0-11 in the semi-final earlier this month for Sunday’s Connacht MFC decider against Roscommon at Dr Hyde Park.

Adrian Nolan, Sean Moran and Ian Burke all come into the side, having come on as substitutes during the win in Carrick-on-Shannon.

Burke, who scored 1-1 in the last outing, starts on the 40’ for the Tribesmen, with Nolan to his left, while Sean Moran will partner Shane Geoghegan at centre-field. Gearóid Canavan moves from midfield to centre-back and in attack Shane Walsh goes to left corner-forward, having played on the right wing against Leitrim, in a full-forward line which includes Conor Rabbitte and Shane Maughan.
