OFFALY boss Tom Cribbin said recent controversies within the county GAA had “nothing to do with our performance” in Saturday’s defeat to Limerick.

The footballers were caught up in a row between the county board and the senior hurlers but Cribbin insisted the dispute had not impacted on his squad’s preparations for the trip to the Gaelic Grounds.

He was also circumspect about his own future as manager, admitting: “I don’t know. I’ll just have to reflect on that for a while. I didn’t envisage having to make that decision (Saturday).
