GAA chiefs are set to investigate an incident in a Tipperary divisional game in which an umpire was injured.

The incident occurred in the latter stages of a Mid Tipperary SHC semi-final between Drom-Inch and JK Brackens at Templetuohy on Sunday night.

Ten minutes from time, a melee involving several players erupted in the centre of the field.
