A MASTERLY display of shooting from Eamon Brosnan earned Meelin a hugely satisfying win over Dromina in this second round contest in Kilbrin last night.

Having lost to Fr O’Neills at the initial hurdle, the All-Ireland junior champions made no mistake second time out. The importance of Brosnan to Meelin’s cause was underlined emphatically as the skilful corner-forward contributed 2-11 to the scoreboard.

Meelin went ahead early with points from Jeremy Curtin and Liam Collins while Brosnan added a penalty.
