Galway star Meehan fighting for fitness

GALWAY manager Tomas Ó Flatharta is not certain if Michael Meehan will be fit to see action in Sunday week’s Connacht semi-final against Mayo.

The Kerry native confirmed his star forward is back training but has been suffering pain in his ankle after each session.

“He’d major surgery last November and he’s been working very hard since then,” said Ó Flatharta.
