ZACH TUOHY revealed he had to stop himself from having an over-animated celebration when scoring his first AFL goal for Carlton against Brisbane on Sunday, satisfying himself with a simple raised right forefinger.

The Portlaoise man was overwhelmed by the reaction of his team-mates though, with most of them congregating around him to share in his special moment.

Afterwards, head coach, Brett Ratten asked Tuohy what he was doing so far forward when he launched that 55m bomb with six minutes remaining of the Blues’ smashing round 12 victory, knowing what the answer would be.
