Cork, Tipp U21 date change

A CHANGE in the Munster U21HC semi-final date between Cork and Tipperary will avoid a repeat of last season’s hard choices for dual players. The match has been brought forward from July 20 to 15. The new date is a full week before the All-Ireland hurling quarter-finals which could feature both counties.
Cork, Tipp U21 date change

Cork’s Ciarán Sheehan and Aidan Walsh missed last year’s U21 hurling championship due to a match with the footballers and will now be available to Ger Fitzgerald.

If the footballers lose to Kerry in the Munster final they won’t see action until July 23 or 24 and a victory means they won’t be out until the August Bank Holiday weekend.
