Limerick mix the old with the new

LIMERICK have named just two of the starting team that lost to Cork last year for Sunday’s Munster semi-final against Waterford.

Graham Mulcahy and Paul Browne are the only survivors from that Munster semi-final defeat while Nicky Quaid, who played in midfield last year, lines out in goal this weekend.

With the 2009 panel players available again after withdrawing their services in Justin McCarthy’s last year in charge, Donal O’Grady has reintroduced six of the team that lost the 2009 All-Ireland semi-final to Tipperary while Stephen Lucey was not considered due to injury.
