Dubs boss Gilroy pays tribute to brilliant bench
“No, just no,” was all the Armagh man could mutter minutes later when approached for a word before he stepped on to a team bus that was so hushed it might have been full of monks on retreat rather than an inter-county panel.
It was left to Pat Gilroy to defend their honour. Gilroy and his players were all smiles afterwards, as would be expected, but the Dublin manager put on his most stern of faces when it was suggested that the game had told him little or nothing about his team.
