Lyne blow for Kingdom

KERRY may be without Tomás Ó Sé for eight weeks, but they’ve lost Jonathan Lyne for the entire summer.

The Legion defender has told Kingdom management that he’s heading off travelling to the US for the summer, removing another defensive option for Jack O’Connor.

Lyne, who had a hectic start to 2011 playing Sigerson Cup with UL, National League and Under 21 with Kerry, was seen as one of the likely breakthrough players into the Kingdom’s Championship plans this season.
