Treaty’s Hickey beats heel injury, but exams come first for Hannon

LIMERICK defender Seamus Hickey last night revealed that he will be fit for Sunday week’s Munster SHC semi-final against Waterford despite being troubled by a heel injury over the past fortnight.

The injury has prevented Hickey from partaking fully in the Shannonsiders’ training but he is winning his battle to overcome the problem.

“It was a niggling injury that just persisted a little longer than I’d liked. But I’ve put it behind me and I’ve been back in full training since Wednesday night. I rested up and missed three sessions but I’m back now and I’ll be 100% for the game Sunday week against Waterford.”
