MEATH’s championship preparations have been thrown into disarray by the decision of Liam Harnan and Barry O’Callaghan to step down as selectors.

Harnan and O’Callaghan, the only two Meath men in Seamus McEnaney’s management team, are understood to have departed because they weren’t consulted about Graham Geraghty’s return to the panel.

On Friday, Harnan wasn’t in a position to confirm or deny whether the 1999 All-Ireland winner had come back although McEnaney already had that day.
