Dubs power too much for Farney

DUBLIN continued their championship build-up with a comfortable 4-14 to 1-15 challenge win over Monaghan at Parnell Park last night.
Dubs power too much for Farney

Two classy finishes from Diarmuid Connolly and a blistering strike by Barry Cahill put the Dubs in the driving seat with the impressive Colm McManus drilling a late goal to leave it 3-6 to 1-6 at the break.

The Dubs made 13 changes for the second half, with only Rory O’Carroll and Paul Griffin, back from cruciate injury, being retained but had the fire power in Bernard and Alan Brogan to ease home.
