Tierney: Laois have bulked up

MJ TIERNEY admits that Laois have bulked up considerably under the stewardship of former Armagh defender Justin McNulty.

And the Parnells clubman has conceded the O’Moore County players had to embrace a more professional approach or face the prospect of being left behind.

McNulty, a 2002 All-Ireland SFC medallist with Armagh, has placed a major emphasis on physical strength and Tierney revealed there is no hiding place for players not willing to comply.
