EIRCOM will be named as the new associate sponsors of the All-Ireland football championship on Monday.

The telecommunications company will come on board to replace Vodafone, who stepped down last year to concentrate on their sponsorship with Dublin GAA.

The Irish Examiner revealed in January the telecommunications company were in advanced talks with the GAA about filling the void alongside continuing patrons Ulster Bank and Super Valu.
