Second Model man joins Sars

CORK senior hurling champions Sarsfields’ squad has been strengthened with the arrival of another Wexford inter-county player.

Éanna Martin will join his county colleague Eoin Quigley from Geraldine O’Hanrahan’s. The duo lined out for the Model County’s victory over Cork last weekend and will be big assets to the club’s charge to a second county title.

Martin is a former UCC player and his arrival will copper fasten Sars’ tag as favourites before their opening round meeting with east Cork rivals Cloyne.
