Walsh wants league to be restructured

CORK hurling boss Denis Walsh has called on the GAA to restructure the National Hurling League.

Following his side’s 1-14 draw with Tipperary, which left both teams out of the running for the league title, he wondered would a 12-team division work better.

“The league is run okay but ideally I believe there should be 12 teams allowed to compete in Division 1,” said the Rebel County manager.
