The new kit with the Czech Republic company’s logo will be unveiled following the conclusion of the county’s senior footballers and hurlers’ interests in the Allianz League, when Enfer’s partnership with Tipperary finishes.

A source close to the deal that is all-but inked confirmed an announcement will be made in good time before the county’s first championship outing — the footballers’ Munster quarter- final against Kerry in Killarney on May 22. The hurlers open their campaign against Cork in a mouthwatering clash in Thurles a week later. The resolution of what turned out to be a messy sponsorship saga comes after news of Skoda’s interest in replacing Enfer was first reported by the Irish Examiner in January.
