Kingdom pencil in Portugal for getaway

KERRY’s footballers will be heading away on a training camp to Portugal if they don’t reach next month’s Allianz Division 1 final.

Jack O’Connor and the county board have provisionally earmarked the same Easter weekend that the final will be played in Croke Park as a potential date for the trip.

The Munster champions are looking into the possibility of flying out on Holy Thursday and returning on Easter Monday if they fail to qualify for the showdown.
