IN this year’s Annual Report, the GAA’s director-general Páraic Duffy floated an idea which appears to make a great deal of sense.

Duffy believes that county boards should be allowed to keep every penny they receive when hosting National League games. When Duffy unveiled this suggestion at a press conference in Croke Park last week my initial reaction was extremely positive.
