Donegal led 1-3 to 0-3 at the break after a Shane Byrne goal but as they did in the first-half, Meath broke from the blocks in whirlwind fashion in the second period and had two quick Brian Davis points. The second goal came 19 minutes into the second-half — a John O’Malley effort and thereafter, Donegal coasted home.
