Goals secure Vocational final slot for Donegal

Donegal led 1-3 to 0-3 at the break after a Shane Byrne goal but as they did in the first-half, Meath broke from the blocks in whirlwind fashion in the second period and had two quick Brian Davis points. The second goal came 19 minutes into the second-half — a John O’Malley effort and thereafter, Donegal coasted home.

DONEGAL: C McGlynn; J Campbell, A Blair, A McCloskey; P Doherty, M O’Reilly, S Ellis; D White, L Barrett; R Dunleavy, J O’Malley (1-0), R McHugh; S McGarvey (0-1), P McBrearty (0-4, 2f), S Boyle (1-0).
