Heslin to sit out Leinster U21 tie

WESTMEATH and Cavan shared the spoils in this very poor NFL Division 3 game at Cusack Park, Mullingar, yesterday.

The sides were level at half time 0-5 to 1-2, with the Cavan goal coming in the 12th minute when Westmeath goalkeeper Darren Quinn badly misjudged a Seanie Johnston effort.

Westmeath raised their game after the break and Dessie Dolan struck four points in 16 minutes.
