Daly receives unanimous Ulster backing

Monaghan became the latest county from the northern province to back the Donegal man when they endorsed his candidature at their first board meeting of the year last Tuesday night.

There had been reports in recent weeks that Daly was still considering the nomination. However, it is understood he is now a contender for the position which will be decided at Annual Congress in April.
