Galvin sticking with Finuge
The former footballer of the year will soon start a one-year fashion-based course at Dublin IT, prompting fanciful reports that he was also set to switch his allegiance from Finuge to a high profile club in the capital. However, the 30-year-old was quick to rubbish the newspaper speculation last night, telling Radio Kerry: “It’s the story of my life – just some unfounded story in a newspaper – complete speculation. I’ve no notion of leaving my club at all, for any club in Dublin or for any club for that matter.
“These stories seem to crop up every now and then. I felt it was important to respond to this one because my club is important to me. I wouldn’t want people in Finuge thinking I was about to up and leave.”
