Coachford breeze into decider following first-half goal blitz

Coachford scored their first goal after only five minutes when a speculative Leon Cogan effort wound up in the losers net.

With John Corkery their target man and Cogan doing the bulk of the scoring, wing back Daniel O’Sullivan added a point, before a defence-splitting tenth minute move ended with left corner forward David Barry slotting goal number two in the 10th minute and they were nine points to the good before Leon Cogan belted home a penalty approaching the half-time whistle.
