Harty Cup cracker on the cards

DEFENDING champions Ard Scoil Rís play Thurles CBS in the quarter-final of the Dr Harty Cup.

It’s a repeat of last year’s final which took three classic matches before the Limerick school won their first ever title.

Former champions and great rivals St. Flannan’s and St. Colman’s are paired together while the victors meet the winners of the Ard Scoil Ris/Thurles CBS game in the first of the semi-finals.

Our Lady’s (Templemore) will play Midleton CBS, with Charleville CBS meeting Nenagh CBS. The winners will meet in the semi-final.

With five Kerry schools in the hat for the quarter-final draws in the Corn Uí Mhuirí, there was no avoiding an all-Kingdom clash.
