Ballymore should have the edge

THE final club deciders of the year are fixed in Leinster tomorrow with the showpiece event being the IFC final clash between Ballymore (Kildare) and Nobber (Meath) with the former having home advantage (throw-in 1.30pm).
Ballymore should have the edge

The Kildare champions have impressed on route to the final and James Kavanagh will spearhead their assault for honours. Nobber will look to senior player Brian Farrell and Gavin Farrelly but home advantage should shade it for Ballymore.

The JFC final brings St Andrews (Carlow) and Ballinabrackey (Meath) to Dr Cullen Park (1.30pm) in Carlow.

County man Chris O’Connor is the Meath team’s star player and despite facing a St Andrews team backboned by Alan Corcoran, they are capable of lifting silverware.

* The JHC Final between Drumcullen (Offaly) and John Lockes (Kilkenny), fixed for Rath tomorrow has been postponed.
