Rossies’ convention put off due to weather

Roscommon’s annual county board convention has been postponed due to poor weather.

The meeting had been scheduled tonight but the convention will now be held Saturday, January 8.

The county board needed permission from Croke Park to push the convention into 2011 as the GAA’s Official Guide states that all conventions have to take place before December 31.

Shannon-Kanturk cup clash is postponed

MUNSTER: The Munster Junior Cup clash of Shannon and Kanturk, along with the Avonmore Munster Senior Cup tie between Bandon Grammar and Midleton College have been called off due to the inclement weather.

Tomorrow’s Cork Minor BHC final between Clyda Rovers and St Marks fixed for Mallow has been postponed, as has the Premier 2 Co MFL quarter-final between Canovee and Clonakilty fixed for Carraigadrohid.
